Adele L. Willison

BOARDMAN-There are no services or calling hours scheduled for Adele L. Willison, 91, formerly of Boardman, who passed away at 6:40 AM Saturday, January 27, 2007 in Briarfield of Ashley Nursing Center. Adele was born June 27, 1915 in Columbus and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Josephine (Cento) Bevilacqua. Adele graduated from St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing in 1937. Adele retired in June of 1983 from St. Elizabeth Medical Center where she was a registered nurse. She continued her career with private duty nursing. Adele was preceded in death in 1971 by her husband Thomas G. Willison, whom she married September 7, 1946. Adele is survived by two children Thomas “Tom” P. (Josie) of Boardman, and Jodie (Bruce) Johnson of Poulsbo, WA; a brother Peter Bevilacqua of Poland; and one granddaughter Meggan Johnson of Tacoma, WA. Besides her parents and husband, Adele was preceded in death by a sister Mary Saiani and a brother Frank Bevilacqua. A caring cremation has taken place under the direction of the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Inurnment will take place next to her husband in Calvary Cemetery. The family of Adele would like to thank the staff at Briarfield-Ashley Circle for the care and friendship given to her over the past 7 years.
