Ann Marie V Petrilla

Anna Marie V. Petrilla, 86, formally of Niles, died Tuesday October 13, 2015 at her home in Mineral Ridge, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Anna Marie was born July 11, 1929 in Warren, a daughter of the late Michael and Clara (Laprocina) Capito. Anna Marie attended Warren G. Harding High School. She was a devout catholic and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. Anna Marie spent her time as a dedicated wife and mother taking great care of her family over the years. She took pride cooking all her favorite Italian dishes from scratch for everyone to enjoy. She loved going shopping for new clothes and shoes and to keep up on the latest fashion trends she would attend fashion shows. She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 64 years, Anthony Petrilla, whom she married on March 26, 1951. She also leaves behind a daughter, JoAnne (Michael) Hanysh, of Mineral Ridge, a son Anthony M. (Michelle) Petrilla, of Utah; three granddaughters, Jennifer Hanysh of Columbus and Brianna and Jessica Petrilla both of Utah; four brothers; Dominic (Judy) Capito, of Austintown, Nicholas (Janet) Capito, of CA, Gabriel (Ruth Ann) Capito of Warren, and John Capito of Howland; and two sisters, Maryann Chitwood, of CA and Dolly (Rudy)Patrick, of FL. Beside her parents, Anna Marie was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Leslie Rodgers she was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Helen Capito. Services will be private. Care is entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Niles Chapel.
