Anna (Noday) Otte of Vienna, Ohio, died Wednesday in her sister’s home after an extended illness. She was 81. Mrs. Otte was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 6, 1924, a daughter of Joseph and Jennie (Mast) Noday. She graduated from South High School, Youngstown, in 1943, and furthered her education by attending Youngstown College. Anna worked for Ohio Edison as the Chief Substation Clerk for over 42 years prior to her retirement in 1985. She was a charter member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, Vienna, Ohio. Survivors include: 2 sisters, Mary Grace Wagner & her husband Charles, Youngstown, Ohio, and Rita Maiorana & her husband Sam, Boardman, Ohio; 3 brothers, William Noday, Melbourne, Florida, Eugene Noday & his wife Mary Jane, Youngstown, and Rudy Noday & his wife Barbara, Boardman; several nieces and nephews; and 2 sister-in-laws, Patricia Noday, Youngstown, and Mary Noday, Austintown, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, Frederick N. Otte, whom she married October 28, 1950; he died April 9, 1994; by her brothers, Anthony & Louis Noday; and by her sister, Elizabeth Noday. Requiem Mass will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, Vienna, with Fr. Joseph R. Valentine, F.S.S.P. Calling hours will be Friday from 5-8 PM at the Madasz Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill Burial Park, Vienna, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church. Family & Friends can send condolences to www.madaszchapel.com.
