A memorial service will be held at 5 PM Wednesday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Barbara Ann Schisler, 61, who passed away Saturday morning in St. Elizabeth Medical Center Main Campus. Barbara, who was also known as "Red", was born May 19, 1954 in Youngstown the daughter of Robert and Edith (Lehman) Latimer. She was a lifelong area resident, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Barbara's hobbies included crocheting, reading, going to flea markets, and watching reality TV shows. She was an avid sports fan, and was a fan of the 49er football team. Barbara was also an Elvis music fan. She leaves her husband Randall Schisler, whom she married May 10, 1980, four children, Tracy (Dave) Hoffman, and Nicole (Mark) Sorber both of Boardman, Christopher Dale (Tacey) Schisler and Charles Schisler both of Youngstown, two sisters, Jackie Ranalli of Campbell and Marge (Mike) Semond of Boardman, as well as eight grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna, Brooke, Haley, C.J., Jordan, Samantha, and Katelin. She also leaves her beloved uncle Bud as well as 13 neices and nephews and many great nieces and nephews Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one grandson, Jonathan, and one brother Butch Latimer and one sister Debbie Latimer. Friends may call from 4 to 5 PM Wednesday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where services will begin at 5 PM. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of CICU at St. Elizabeth Main Campus that took care of Barbara.
