Doug Fromwiller

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel for Doug Fromwiller, 84 of Berlin Center who died April 2nd at Shepherd of the Valley, Boardman. Doug was born July 1, 1932 in Fairview Park, Ohio, a son of the late Oscar and Rose (Nipper) Fromwiller. He served in the U.S. Army and had worked for Ohio Bell/A.T. & T. for 40 years. Doug enjoyed the outdoors. He loved animals and was involved with taking care of horses. He enjoyed reading hunting and fishing magazines and tinkering with anything mechanical. He leaves a sister, Jayne Fitch of Huntsburg and his second family, whom he made his home with for many years, the Jean and Roy Abram family of Berlin Center, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. Friends may call for one hour prior to the services on Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
