Fannie N. Hess

December 9, 1925 — July 14, 2009

Fannie N. Hess, 83, of Warren died peacefully 1:41 PM Tuesday July 14, 2009 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family following a brief illness. She was born in Phoenix City, AL the daughter of George and Jettie (Jackson) Hendricks. A lifetime area resident, Fannie was employed by Ohio Security Services for the past 40 years and was still working presently until she became ill. She loved spending time with her family and especially the little ones. The more children around her the happier she was. She was a big fan of professional wrestling and enjoyed bingo and crafts. She liked to go to Eat-N-Park and Lone Star restaurants. Fannie was an active volunteer for the Angels of Hope Relay for Life Team Her husband Paul Hess whom she married Dec. 24, 1942 preceded her in death Jan. 7, 1991. Also preceding her were her parents, and a son Teddy Hess, a brother Clinton, a sister Shelby and 3 infant siblings that died at birth. She will be sadly missed by her children Tommy (Vivian) Hess of Warren, Kathy Farr with whom she made her home, Terry Hess of Florida, Timmy Hess of Georgia, Paula (David) Barcomb of Niles, and daughter in law Brenda Hess of Newton Falls. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren; Michael (Jean) Hess, Gary Hess, Angela (Larry) Tipton, Terry (Kimberly) Armstrong, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Jessep, Jason Armstrong, Jill Hess, Andrea Hess, Benjamin Hess, Chelsea Hess, Kristin Hausen, Lindsay Hausen, Christopher and Anthony Barcomb, great grandchildren; Jennifer, Brent, Bryce, Mason, Sienna, Moira, Morgan, Mallory, Destiny, Tristin, Katelynn, Payton, Heydon, and great great grandchildren Alexis and Logan. She also leaves 2 sisters Elizabeth Hemby of Warren and Kathryn Wills of Phoenix City, AL. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday July 17, 2009 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 6-8 Thursday and for 1 hour prior to the service. Rev. Byron Powers will officiate. Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park. The family suggests material contributions be made to Angels of Hope Relay for Life Team C/O PO Box 375 Leavittsburg, OH 44430.
