Florence Winnie Cameron

Mineral Ridge- Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Winnie Cameron age 82 of 3809 Main St. who died Sat. afternoon in St. Joseph Hospital in Warren. Winnie was born April 24, 1922 in Fulton Run, Pa. and was the daughter of the late Knowlton C. and Sara (Bothell) Fairman. She had worked many years ago for Trio Cleaners in Mineral Ridge. Winnie was a member of the Mineral Ridge United Methodist Church where she belonged to the United Methodist Women and was a member of the Golden Glow Rebekah Lodge in Mineral Ridge. Her husband, Wayne Cameron whom she married June 1, 1940 died Feb. 10, 1994. She is survived by two daughters Norma Durig of Mineral Ridge, Donna (Francis) Adams of Punxatawney, Pa., a son Kenneth (Sue) Cameron of Mineral Ridge, five grandchildren, Jeff Durig, Shelley Tadla, Zac Cameron, Angel Cameron, Marsha Rush and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters Ellen Ruddock and Louise Bowman. Friends and family may call from 5-8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to services on Wed at the funeral home. The lodge will hold a service 7:45 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. The family requests that material contributions be made to the Mineral Ridge United Methodist Church.
