Grace L. May 87 Salem—Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Grace L. May, 86 of Salem, formally of Newton Falls, who passed away early Monday morning in Holander House in Salem. Grace was born January 12, 1916 in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Mary (Stevens) Maggs. She was a member of Pricetown United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star #1140 Palmyra, as well as the American Legion Post #737 in Lake Milton. Grace was the Assistant Road Foreman for Milton Twp. Retiring in 1979 after 21years of service. Her husband Harry A. May whom she married October 1, 1936 passed away April 13, 1995. Grace leaves two daughters Florence (Jo Ann) Dye of Fowler, Donna J. Hunt of Berlin Center, and 6 grand children and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband two sisters Phoebe Waller and Florence Maggs and five brothers Clarence, Dean, Wilford, Paul, and Howard Maggs precede her in death. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
