Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday May 13th at the Lane Family Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Harry Edward Fox, 63, of Lake Milton who passed away Monday evening, May 9, 2016 at his home. Harry was born July 23, 1952 in Akron the son of George and Edna (Grossweiler) Fox. He was a graduate of Jackson Milton High School class of 1971 and retired as a press operator from the Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg. Harry raised and showed dogs and he also owned and raced greyhounds. His main concern was the raising and wellbeing of dogs. He was a member of the Mahoning and Shenango Kennel Club, the Trumbull Kennel Club, and the Columbiana Kennel Club, as well as the Steel Valley Cluster. Besides his love for dogs, Harry's hobbies also included traveling, genealogy, going to casinos with his wife, and reminiscing with old friends. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. Harry leaves his wife, the former Joyce Stoddard, whom he married December 23, 1978, one son David Edward Fox of Pittsburgh, one sister, Patricia Young of Carrollton, TX, as well as several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Besides his parents George and Edna, Harry was preceded in death by two brothers, George Paul and Jimmy David Fox and one sister JoAnn Treharn. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, where services will be held at 10 AM on Friday.
