Helen L. Blough, 92 CANFIELD- Helen L. Blough, 92 of Assumption Village, North Lima, formerly of Canfield died Thursday evening at Assumption Village. Helen was born April 24, 1922 in Somerfield, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Victor and Rebecca Wright Griffith. She was a homemaker and a member of Canfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafts. Her husband, Eugene F. Blough, Jr. whom she married April 22, 1951, died March 29, 1985. She leaves two sons, Jeffrey K. (Linda S.) Blough of Boardman, James O. (Jennifer J.) Blough of Cincinnati; one daughter, Susan L. Blough of Baltimore, Maryland and two granddaughters, Jessica and Jamie Blough. Besides her parents and her husband, Helen was preceded in death by four sisters, Dorothy Crawford, Maxine White, Mary Lou Grimm and Nancy Griffith and two brothers, Glenn Griffith and Dane Griffith. Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 5:00 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Home, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield Chapel. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Oaklawn Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the care and love given by the staff and nurses at Assumption Village.
