There will be prayers at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, November 5th at Lane Family Funeral Home, Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave., Boardman, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown for Jacqueline Dunleavy, 86 of Poland who died Thursday evening at Hampton Woods Nursing Center. Jacqueline was born May 14, 1929 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Paul and Gladys Fricker Smith and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, the altar guild of the church and the Cursillo movement. Jacqueline was a self-employed care giver to many people. She had a very caring and generous heart. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. She enjoyed crafting; knitting, crocheting, ceramics and was also an avid seamstress, sewing many of her children's clothes. She loved to camp and had travelled with her husband across the country. She leaves her husband, William G. Dunleavy whom she married March 10, 1951; her six children, Dennis (Nancy) Dunleavy of New Middletown, Robert Dunleavy of Youngstown, Jeanine Sharpe- (Dennis) Nye of Canfield, Kevin Dunleavy of Yuma, Arizona, Erin (John) Davis of Canfield, Dr. Sean (Pamela) Dunleavy of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Joan (Dwight) Depp of Poland; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her step-mother, Estelle Smith and a son-in-law, Donald Sharpe. Friends may call on Wednesday at Lane Family Funeral Home, Anstrom Chapel from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
