Justin Lee Stevens

GREENE TWP- Justin Lee Stevens, 43, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at his home from an unexpected farming accident. He was born on March 21, 1972 in Warren, Ohio, son of Frederick Lee "Rick" Stevens and Dianne Marie (Galbincea) Trevena. Justin graduated from Maplewood High School in 1988. He married his wife, Renee (Williams) Stevens on March 21, 1995. Justin was employed by the United Steel Workers Union from 1988 to 1990 and the Laborers International Union of North America Local 125 in Youngstown, Ohio from 1990 to current day. Justin was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to spend time tending to and cultivating his family farm. He will always be remembered for his eager and devoted work ethic. Most of all, Justin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Justin is survived by his wife of 20 years, Renee (Williams) Stevens; daughters, Ashley Nichole (Jacob) Paridon and Courtney Elyse Stevens; his father, Rick (Marlene) Stevens; mother, Dianne Galbincea Trevena; paternal grandfather, Frederick G Stevens; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jesse Lee Stevens and Jeffrey Lee Stevens; paternal grandmother, Edna Hartman Stevens; maternal grandmother, Helen Galbincea and maternal grandfather, Captain Dan Galbincea. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 North High Street, Cortland. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jason Allen officiating. One hour of calling will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, prior to services. Entombment will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
