Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Mabel Emelia (Kreitzburg) Eynon who passed away Tuesday evening at Ron Joy Nursing Home. Mabel was born November 3, 1904 in Youngstown a daughter of Harry and Freda (Pasdaach) Berndt. She was a member of the Four Mile Run Christian Church for 76 years, was a clerk at Strouss and McKelvey’s retiring in 1950 in the drapery department. Mabel also worked at General Fireproofing during WWII. She is survived by a daughter Jeanne Staffrey of Canfield; and four step sisters: Eleanor Youngblood, Harriett Vollmer, Delores Merrill and Donna Klenitch. She is preceded in death by her first husband Eugene L. Kreitzburg whom she married January 6, 1923 and passed away on July 21, 1974; her second husband Edward J. Eynon whom she married April 4, 1948 and passed away on February 13, 1984; her grandson Chris Staffrey who passed away April 2000; four sisters: Jeanette Ristle, Vera Berndt, Ruth Eynon and Leona Berndt; and two step sisters: Betty Varkonyi, and Pauline Konos. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel from 3-6 PM Sunday afternoon.
