Austintown- Funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday in St. Joseph Church for Patsy Strollo of Austintown who died Monday at the Cleveland Clinic during surgery for a liver transplant. Patsy was born January 4, 1939 in Youngstown the son of Tony and Rose (Esposito) Strollo and was a life long area resident. Patsy retired from General Motors in Lordstown after 28 years. After his retirement he volunteered at Y.S.U. working with the football program. Patsy graduated from East High school and Youngstown State University. He is survived by his wife Beverly (Raybuck) whom he married September 3 1964, son Ronald and Nicole Strollo of Austintown, daughter Pennie Strollo of Canfield, sisters Eda and William Alfano of Boardman, Mafalda D’Amato of Youngstown, Rose and William Mastrangelo of Struthers and two grandchildren Ryan and Rachel Strollo. Friends and family may call Thursday from 4-7 pm at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. The family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to Youngstown State University for an athletic scholarship in Patsy’s name.
