Pete M. "Murph" Dobrozdravic, 90, of Masury, Ohio, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 25, 2014. He was born on May 31, 1924 in Windber, PA to the late, John and Anna (Saban) Dobrozdravic. Pete is a veteran on the United States Marine Corp, serving during the entire length of WWII in the Pacific area, attaining the rank of Corporal before being honorably discharged. He was a member of St. Anthony's Parish of Padua in Sharon, Pennsylvania where he was a longtime member of their choir. Pete was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Croatian Fraternal Union of America, VFW Post #5286 and played on the Sunset Lanes Men's Senior Bowling League in Farrell, PA. Pete liked to play euchre, spend time working outdoors and was a fan of the Scrapper's and Cleveland Indians and Browns. Pete loved to spend time with his family; he will be missed dearly by them. Pete is survived by his son, Jerome (Carolyn) Dobrozdravic and daughter, Barbara (Thomas) McMaster; grandchildren, Peter Dobrozdravic, Lisa Slosarik, Alexis McMaster, James McMaster, Gillian McMaster, Jeffrey Dobrozdravic, Amy Dobrozdravic and Todd Dobrozdravic; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Braden Slosarik; brother, George Dobrozdravic; and beloved granddog, Sophie. Pete was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Frances Dobrozdravic, on October 27, 2007; sons, Paul Dobrozdravic and Richard Dobrozdravic; parents and an infant brother. Calling hours for Pete will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel, 6923 Warren-Sharon Road, Brookfield, OH 44403, from 4:00 to 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at the St. Anthony's Parish of Padua, 804 Idaho Street, Sharon, PA 16146, at 12:00PM with Rev. Joseph C. Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Farrell, PA. where full Military Honors will be served.
