Terry Lee Williams, age 60, of Poland, Ohio, died June 19, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital of Pancreatic Cancer. He was born February 23, 1955 in Youngstown, the son of the late Doris Kerr Williams Carducci and the late Robert Williams. Terry was a 1973 graduate of Boardman High School and studied communications and broadcasting at Kent State University and Youngstown State University. He worked as a radio personality under the name Lee Williams at WHOT, WKST, 13Q in Pittsburgh, WFMJ, and as Terry Williams on WNCD. More recently, he served as Production Director for Clear Channel Radio in Youngstown. Terry's rich and distinct voice is heard on many local television commercials. Terry was the DJ at the VIP entertainment complex in Niles from its opening to its closing. He was a commercial photographer, starting his own photography business, Williams Imaging, in 1980 and operating it for 35 years. He was a Mahoning County Deputy Sheriff for over 20 years and a member of the Sheriff Department's Rescue Dive Team. Terry loved flying and held a Commercial pilot's license. He flew twin-engine airplanes and was also a flight instructor. Terry's many hobbies included target shooting, sailing, scuba diving, traveling, gun-smithing, and boat restoration. Terry leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, the former Amy Jo Donahay, whom he married June 21, 1980 - the day two best friends joined lives; his son, Scott Lee Williams - of whom he was so proud; and his aunt, Donna Kerr. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, LaVon Fishel; and an uncle, Sharon Lee. Terry was a member of Holy Family Church, 2729 Center Road, Poland, Ohio 44514, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 where Monsignor William J. Connell will celebrate Terry's life. Family and friends may visit at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Avenue, Boardman, Ohio 44512 on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 5:00 8:00 PM.
