Vincent P Stankiewiz Jr.

Vincent P. Stankiewiz Jr., 69, passed away Saturday evening, April 2, 2016 at Community Skilled Health Care in Warren, OH. Vincent was born in Warren, OH on February 16, 1947, the son of Vincent P. Stankiewiz Sr. and Helen (Bogden) Stankiewiz. He was a 1965 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He continued his education at Kent State University where he received his bachelor's degree in Arts. He found employment at Thomas Steel in Warren until he retired 2008. He was a gun enthusiast and loved old cars. He enjoyed cooking, going to auctions, and doing crafts; especially making hats for infants at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He also loved spending time with his dog Indie. Vincent will be deeply missed by his children, Heath (Lorie) Stankiewiz of Howland and Aaron (Angela) Stankiewiz of Erie, PA; and his eight grandchildren, Jason, Yousef, Alexis, Alyssa, Connor, Braedon, Macie, and Asher. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Stankiewiz. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Gatlinburg, TN. Memorial contributions may be sent to the family to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements for Vincent were entrusted with Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel in Warren, OH.
