Aaron "YaYa" Hamner, age 25, of Berlin Center passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic. Born April 27, 1993 in Ridgeland, S.C.; he was the son of Kelly (Hamner) Mihalcin and Robert McGirr. He graduated from Jackson-Milton High School. He was a great welder, loved to sing, write music and poems, and play games with his friends. Besides his parents, survivors include: his brothers, Chad (Michelle) Hamner, Brennyn (Marcia) Dunlap, and a sister Cyndle Reed; step-father John Mihalcin; father, Timothy Dunlap; another father-figure Matt Hively; nieces and nephews: Kaydynce, Zayden, Hunter, and Brody; grandparents, Pam and Don Dunlap; uncles: Steve, Dan, Jim, and Don; an aunt Renee as well as other aunts, and cousins; and friends: Tom McDermott, Matt Oxley, and Louis Oxley, that he considered his brothers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: James and Joyce Hamner, and Wanda and Emmett McGirr. Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4-7PM; there will be no other services. .
