Alan R. Johnson

YOUNGSTOWN-Alan R. Johnson, 35, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his residence. Alan was born March 6, 1984, the son of Richard and Jennifer Johnson. Alan was involved in Facility Automation Solutions with C.C.G. He was a 2002 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and graduated from ITT-Technical Institute with a degree in Information Technology. Alan loved music and played the drums and guitar with an unsurpassed ear for harmonies. Alan is survived by family members, Rick and Jan Johnson of Columbiana; Jennifer and Carl Dutch of Anchorage, AK; Tamara L. Johnson; Elias Stewart and Clara Stewart all of Austintown; Michael Fonce, a friend of the family and a tribe of local musicians, all fortunate enough to have worked with him. There will be a Celebration of Life for Alan from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel.
