Andrew G. Klempay Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Andrew G. Klempay Jr. will be held at 11 AM, Friday November 16, at St. Michael's Church. Andrew passed away Monday evening, November 5, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital - Mercy Health in Youngstown at the age of 87. Andrew was born May 27, 1931 in Youngstown, the son of Andrew G. Sr. and Anastasia (Diersing) Klempay. He was a 1949 graduate of Wilson High School and a member of St. Michael Church in Canfield. He was Co-Owner, with his brothers, of Andrew Klempay and Sons, House Movers. Andrew was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, who always enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his love of flying and he built many radio-controlled model airplanes. He also belonged to the Experimental Aircraft Association. His wife the former Roseann Barile, whom he married February 9, 1951, passed away October 12, 2018. Andrew leaves two children, Sally (Dr. Mark) Squicquero and Roger A. Klempay both of Canfield, as well as two grandchildren, Sarah Rose Squicquero of Bloomington, IN, and Dr. Adam Squicquero of Bluffton SC. Besides his wife Roseann, Andrew was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James. He leaves two brothers Edward Klempay of Florida, and Thomas Klempay of Canfield along with a sister, Margaret DiBlasio of Minnesota. Family and friends may call 10 to 10:45 AM, Friday, November 16th -- at St. Michael Church in Canfield where a mass will begin at 11 AM.
