Ann R. Cox

Services celebrating the life of Ann Cox will be held at 10am Saturday at Four Mile Run Christian Church, 701 N. Four Mile Run Rd., Youngstown, 44515. Ann was born September 20, 1940 in Youngstown the daughter of James and Agnes (Kelly) Giblin. Ann was a long time member of Four Mile Run Christian Church where she had been active in the Hand bell Choir, Church Choir, Sunday school teacher and the Worship Team. Ann was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School in 1958 and continued meeting with her high-school "club-girls" for 58 years playing cards. She formerly was active in the Austintown school's PTA. Ann will be sadly missed by her husband of almost 56 years George E. "Ted" Cox whom she married September 17, 1960, children; George M. (Lisa) Cox of Columbiana, Kelley A. (Magnus) Svensson of Canfield, Kathleen S. (Rob) Bodnar of Austintown and grandchildren; Chelsea Cox, Erica (Cody) Linhart, Leah Cox, Erik Svensson, Amanda Svensson, Nicole Bodnar and Katie Bodnar. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Lois Ferguson and brothers John and James "Gib" Giblin. Family and friends may call from 5-8pm Friday evening at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and from 9-10am Saturday at the church prior to services.
