Anna C. Yamber

Anna C. Yamber, 94, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2020.
Anna was born on June 28, 1925 in Oswego, New York, the daughter of Frances and Mary (Ianiranino) Sperino.
A 1943 graduate of Oswego High School, Anna served as the secretary to the dean of the local college. During the war she was employed by the Department of Defense assisting with the production of parachutes and airplane parts. Anna received numerous commendations from the federal government for her dedicated service of 10 years. In later years Anna enjoyed her time as a stay at home mother.
Anna will be missed by her daughter-in-law Jean Yamber, granddaughter Erica (Jeremy) Hance, grandson River Hance and brother James Sperino. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis, son Francis D. “Frank” Yamber and sisters Mary Sperino and Rosie Swan.
Private services were held at Calvary Cemetery where Anna was laid to rest.
