AUSTINTOWN---Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, January 16, at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Anne H. Pfund, 82 of S. Raccoon Rd. who passed away Tuesday morning in St. Elizabeth Health Care Center following a short illness. Anne was born May 17, 1920 in Youngstown, the daughter of Felix and Pearl Kotz and was a lifelong area resident. Her husband, Fred A. Pfund, whom she married in 1946 passed away in 1998. Besides being a devoted wife and mother, Anne had worked at General Electric 10 years retiring in the 1970’s. She is survived by two loving daughters, Marsha A. Smith and Norma J. Ferkula both of Youngstown, three granddaughters, Carla Wetherby, Kelly McCormick and Toni Smith, and two great-grandchildren, Tommy and Noah Wetherby. A son, Fred Pfund and sister Mae Opincarne preceded her in death. Friends may call from Noon until 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
