Austin Chipps

Austin Darrel "Buster" Chipps died May 17 at age of 82. He was born February 27, 1935 in Yellow Hollow, West Virginia to Archie & Jetta (Norris) Chipps. Austin graduated from Doddridge County High School in 1953 and received a BA Degree from Kent State University in Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army 1953-55. Preceded in death by his wife Alice; he is survived by his children, Stephen Eric (Mary) Chipps, L. Eric Chipps and Danielle Kathleen (Will) Casas; Michael David (Eve) McMillan, Dianna Lynn McMillan, grandchildren, Steven Carl, Tony Tomasic Gabrielle Vasquez and Hannah Bright, and one brother Willis Chipps (Carolyn) of Warner Robins, GA. Memorial services for Austin will be held on June 1, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at the Unity Church 1226 Naylor Lloyd Rd. Girard Ohio, 44420 and on June 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cascara United Methodist Church on WV-23 Salem, West Virginia.
