B. Jean Pritchard of 291 Buena Vista Avenue, Vienna, Ohio, died Thursday at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Warren, Ohio, following an extended illness. She was 84. Ms. Pritchard was born in Youngstown, Ohio on April 17, 1920, a daughter of Herbert and Edna (Chapin) Pritchard. Jean retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Sharon, Pennsylvania, after 30 years of service. She was active in the Vienna Grange #1537, Pomona Grange # 49, and the State & National Grange, earning all 7 degrees in each organization. Her other memberships included: Doll Makers of Northern Ohio, Independent Doll Artists, the Doll Artisan Guild, the United Federation of Doll Collectors, and the Youngstown Doll Study Club. Survivors include: niece, Elizabeth Wittenberg, Alhambra, CA; and other family members. She was preceded in death by: her parents; and a brother, Alvin Pritchard. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Bill Stevens, Retired Pastor. Calling hours will be from 10-11 AM Sunday.
