Barbara Eileen Grant

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Barbara Eileen Grant, 73, of Rootstown, formerly of Berlin Center, who passed way peacefully Thursday evening May 24, 2018, at Bonnies Home Health Care Center. Barbara was born November 20, 1944 in Salem, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Grace E. (Eckenrode) Hilles. She was a graduate of Western Reserve High School and retired in 1997 form General Motors Lordstown Plant where she worked in the body shop. Barbara was a member of Mount Mariah Church, and a former member Eagles in Austintown. Barbara leaves her husband of 37 years, Donald Grant, whom she married January 3, 1981, two daughters Linda Dornan and Christine (Bryan) Jugenhimer all of Salem, three step children, Donna (John) Shessler of Genoa, Sandra (Robert) Dono hue and Otto (Jackie) Grant both of Rootstown, one sister Bernice Sturgeon of Youngstown, as well as 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Dornan and Scott Grant, four sisters Viola Clark, Marjorie Chizmar, Carole Chambers, and Ruth Stroup, and two brothers Burton and Richard Hilles. Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel were services will begin at 11 AM.
