Barbara J. "Penny" Nicholson

Barbara J. "Penny" Nicholson, age 72, of Warren passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017. Born November 2, 1945 in Warren; she was the daughter of Peter and Bernadine (Huber) Gifford. She was a 1964 graduate of McDonald High School. Penny retired from Packard Electric after 25 years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Jo Boggs; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a sister Mary Kegley; and her companion Gary Green. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1994; a son Robert McMillan, and a daughter Melissa Chapman; sisters: Shirley Koniwski, Catherine McGlone, Bessie Joan Stone, Carol Wyllie, and three brothers: Joseph, Jack, and Ted Gifford. Services will be held at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 12:00noon; friends will be received at the funeral home beginning at 10:00am until time of service.
