Barbara A. Kolcun of Youngstown, passed away at her residence. She was 57. Ms. Kolcun was born in Youngstown, OH on June 7, 1951, a daughter of Edward and Mary Ann Chenoski Wrobleski. She graduated from Austintown High School in 1969. She went on to receive an Associates degree in phlebotomy. Barbara had a love for animals, especially cats. She enjoyed camping and traveling. Most of all she was a dedicated Mother. Survivors include: 5 children, Ryan Kolcun of Youngstown, OH, Jamie and her husband Devin Almasi of Las Vegas, NV, Kim and her husband Matt Newton of Las Vegas, NV, Kelli Kolcun of Youngstown, OH, and David Kolcun of Youngstown, OH; a sister, Joan Pope of Berlin Center, OH; a brother, Martin Wrobleski of Niles, OH; 3 grandchildren, Corey Kolcun, Derek and Dreauna Almasi; she is also survived by her ex-husband John Kolcun of Youngstown, OH. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter-in-law, Rose Kolcun. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Christine's Church.
