Barry John Brocker, 62 Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, 65 N. Broad Street, Canfield for Barry John Brocker, 62 of Canfield who passed away Thursday evening at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown. Barry was born February 26, 1956 in Pittsburgh, a son of Dr. Robert J. Brocker, Sr. and Mary Ann Rua Gehm. He graduated from Canfield High School in 1974 and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wittenberg University. He was proud to be an Eagle Scout and the treasurer of the Canfield Sportsmans Conservation Club. Barry was a member of the Canfield Lions Club where he was a Melvin E. Jones recipient. He enjoyed photography and had won many first place ribbons at the Fair. Barry was a proud and patriotic American. He and his family were often seen in the Canfield 4th of July parade handing out candy. He took great pride in teaching his family things that he thought were important so that they could do it for themselves. Barry loved dogs and also raised pigeons and chickens. Barry was CFO for Truck World, Inc. for 16 years, where he was retired. Besides his father of Austintown, Barry leaves his wife, the former Darla Day, whom he married February 20, 1986; two daughters, Sarah Brocker of Columbus, Anna (Fiance Stijepan Vucic) Brocker of Canfield; six brothers, Bob (Kathy) Brocker, Bill (Susan) Brocker, Bruce (Debbie) Brocker, Brian (Marli) Brocker, Brad (Heidi) Brocker, Brent Brocker and a sister, Beth Brocker. Barry also leaves a special niece, Lindsey; "adopted" son, David Constas, and his beloved German Short-haired Pointers, Greta and Ellie. He was preceded in death by his mother. Friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank special friends, Jane and Drew for their continuous love and support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the donors favorite charity.
