Barry G. McKinney

Barry G. McKinney, 70, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at his home. Barry was born on November 24, 1953 in Tampa, FL, the son of the late George William McKinney Sr. and Bertha Rose McKinney.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country from 1971-1974, when he was honorably discharged. He worked as a maintenance technician at Fourmidable. In addition, Barry was an excellent carpenter, general all around master craftsman, and truck driver for many years.

Barry was an avid model train enthusiast who loved to collect and build intricate and very detailed displays for his family to enjoy. In addition to his love of trains, he also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends.

Barry will be deeply missed by the love of his life, June Fleischmann, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; his daughter, Stacy (Cecil) Albritton, two step-sons, numerous grandchildren, sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel, Warren, Ohio will be handling the private viewing and services.
