Benjamin T. "Ben" Davis

Benjamin T. "Ben" Davis, age 64, of Bazetta Township, passed away Friday June 30, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic. Ben was born May 15, 1953 in Winchester, Tennessee the son of the late Elmer and Thelma (Tallent) Davis. He was a 1971 graduate of Grand Valley High School in Orwell and received his associates degree in accounting from Trumbull Business College. Since 1972, Ben was an operator in the galvanizing department at Republic, LTV and WCI Steel Companies for over 40 years. Ben and his wife, Linda, loved to travel, especially to the beach. Together, they loved antiquing and avidly went to antique shows and shops across the country. He strived to be the best backyard BBQ host! He relished spending time with his family and friends and was a devoted husband and father. Ben is survived by his wife of over 32 years, Linda Robson Davis, whom he married November 20, 1984; two daughters, Melissa Stout of Cortland and Tina (Harry) Ellsworth of Champion; six grandchildren, Rebecca, Ashley, Sabrina, Justin, Aaron, and Brandon and a great grandson Liam. Ben also leaves his four sisters, Mary (Dr. Tim) Coalwell of Anchorage, Alaska, Brenda (Bill) King of Lubbock, Texas, Marti Davis of Mobile, Alabama, and Rose Hendershot of Warren; his mother-in-law, Pauline Robson of Cortland and numerous nieces and nephews.
