WARREN- Elizabeth (Betty) A. Glass died on July 21, 2018. She was born June 20, 1918 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Robert and Ida Anderson. The family moved to Warren in 1930. Betty graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1936 and from Warren Business College in 1938. She worked in the accounting department at Packard Electric. Later, she devoted her time raising her family. She married Howard Glass right after the war on December 8, 1945. He passed away in 2012 after 66 years of marriage. She was a longtime member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and helped start the Nell Smith Missionary Circle. She volunteered at Trumbull Memorial Hospital during WWII and later became a Play Lady in the children's ward. Betty loved to do many crafts, especially crewel work. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and they visited almost all the states. She is survived by her son Richard (Joyce) Glass of Mecca Twp., her daughter Nancy Smorra of Arizona; her granddaughter Amy (Chris) Dominiak, and grandsons Scott (Angela) Smorra and James Braham; great-grandsons Camden and Colton. Besides her parents and her husband, Betty is preceded in death by her sister Jeanne McClelland. Betty's family would like to offer a special thank you to her caregivers Kelly and Rose for the love and care they gave Betty. Friends may call 10-11AM, Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren, where Rev. Dr. David Black will begin the funeral service at 11AM.
