There will be Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel for Betty L. Wagner, 94, who passed away Tuesday afternoon at Sunrise Assisted Living of Poland. Betty was born April 17, 1923 in North Jackson, a daughter of Albert and Lillian (Langenheim) Schesler. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and close friends, especially at the trailer at Lake Erie, where fun and frivolity was the highlight for all. Betty was a graduate of North Jackson High School. Betty is survived and her memory lovingly cherished by her daughter Marilyn (Luciano) Parillo of Boardman and their children, Camille (Nathan) Tacsik, Ryan (Elizabeth) Parillo, Derek Parillo, Joseph Parillo and Alex Parillo; her son, Don (Sue) Wagner of Nashville, TN along with their children, Jillian and Jeff Wagner; her grandsons, Mark (Amy) Dobransky and their children, Allysa and Kayla and Matthew (Jennifer) Dobransky; her son-in-law Jerry Banaszak of FL. Besides family members, Betty leaves behind her dear beloved lifelong friends, Minnie Scott, Marilyn Carpenter, Donna Ann Harbin, Virginia Bennedetto-Boldt and Eddie and Priscilla Donegan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Woodrow W. Wagner, whom she married July 4, 1942 and died Dec. 26, 1998 and her daughter Treva Banaszak. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Shepherd of the Valley in Poland, Sunrise Assisted Living of Poland and Crossroads Hospice for their compassionate care and loving concern for Betty.
