Beverly J. Klass, 82, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at St. Joseph Health Center, Warren, OH.

Beverly was born June 2, 1942, in Canton, OH, the daughter of Alfred and Grace (Huth) Ransom.

She attended Bethany College where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and the Messiah Choir. She graduated from France Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. She also was a Dermatology Nurse certified. After working in different areas, Beverly retired from Warren Dermatology and Allergy as a dermatology and Mohs surgery nurse for 26 1/2 years.

An active member of Central Christian Church, she enjoyed many activities and made many friends there.

Beverly was past president of Women’s Panhellenic Association and Weeds to Roses Garden club. She loved playing bridge, swimming, reading, golfing, gardening, bird watching, and going on day trips with her friends to shop and have lunch.

Her favorite vacation spots were Cape Cod and the Outer Banks, especially Corolla, NC, to see the wild Spanish Mustangs. She was a sponsor to Brio, a horse that was rescued from the wild due to malnutrition.

A horse and dog lover, she cherished her rescue dogs McKenzie, Liberty, Becker, and Rory. She was a member of Northeast Ohio Shetland Sheepdog Rescues.

Most of all, she loved her six grandchildren, going to their sports, cheerleading, and academic honors programs and games, and going on vacations with her families. She even took her one granddaughter for horseback riding lessons, taking a few lessons herself.

Beverly was an Indians and Browns fan. Her biggest projects were making T-shirt quilts for all the grandchildren and also stuffed animals made from her mother’s chenille bedspread.

Beverly is survived by two daughters, Erin (Norm) McKnight of Chippewa, PA; Kristen Grayson of Virginia Beach, VA; and son Eric (Susie) Glosser of Poland, OH; grandchildren Emma, Ryleigh, and Jack McKnight; Tanner Grayson, Brendan (Lindsey) Glosser, Chelsea Glosser (Mike) Evinsky; and three great grandchildren Gwenyth, Claire, and Jaxton; brother Dr. Richard Ransom of Wooster, OH; cousin Gerry Huth of Fairfield, OH and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and sister-in-law Sherry Ransom of Wooster, OH.

Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Donations in Beverly’s memory can be made to Northeast Ohio Shetland Sheepdog Rescues, the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Arrangements were made by Lane Funeral Homes – Roberts-Clark Chapel.
