Bill "Scooter" Russell

Bill "Scooter" Russell passed away peacefully with his family by his side. The battle of cancer took another angel home. Bill was born November 3, 1955 in Livermore, California. A son of Bill and Gail Russell. He moved to Niles at Age 10 and made it home. He attended Niles high school. Bill worked for Kmart in Niles for 19 years, and Lowes for four years before retiring. He is a former member of HOG chapter in Warren. He enjoyed camping and fishing and his family. He enjoyed all things nature, especially his two faithful dogs, Coco and Puff. He loved spending time with his family, and absolutely adored his grandchildren. Everyone that knew Scooter, loved him. He is preceded in death by his mother Gail and father William and sister Ginger. He leaves behind his wife and best friend of 19 years Renee Russell, his brother Glenn Russell of Blackshear, Georgia, sons Kris Campbell and Brody (Krystal) Campbell and daughter Sara Dawson. He also leaves three beautiful grandchildren Kamden, Addison, and Tru; six nieces, and a nephew, he also leaves his best friend of 50 years, David (Marsha) Whitmarsh.
