Bonnie “Kay” England, age 88, formerly of Southington, passed away on February 12, 2025 at her home. She was born on March 22, 1936 in Bretz, WV, the youngest of six daughters born to Everett and Grace Keefover Boyles.
Kay graduated from Morgantown High School in Morgantown, WV. She was a long-time member of the Windham United Methodist Church where she served as Trustee Chair for many years, sang in the choir, and was a member of the United Methodist Women.
Kay was the office manager for Trumbull Radiologists, Inc. for several years. In 2012, she and her husband Frank moved to Copeland Oaks Retirement Community in Sebring, Ohio. They attended Union Avenue Methodist Church, where they sang in the choir. Kay was a member of Morning Light Chapter #80 of the Eastern Star and was a past President of the Social Order of the Beauceant #77.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; sisters, Juanita (Joe) Richardson, Margaret (Bob) Bacchus, Enola (Harold) Brown, Bettie (Glen) Livengood and Dorotha J. Boyles; son-in-law, Michael Overton; and special friend Julie Clark.
When Kay and Frank were married, she was blessed with a forever family, son Terry A. (Kathy) England of Cortland, and daughter, Lori A. Overton of Warren. They had five grandchildren, Justin A. England, Cara L. England, Jennifer L. England, Nathan S. Overton, and Michael G. Overton; great-grandchildren, Asher Garcia, Kylie Limbeck, Michael G. Overton, Jr., and Nathan M. Overton. She was loved by several nieces and nephews and loved each of them in return.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Monday, February 24, 2025, at Windham United Methodist Church with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow the service at Windham Township Cemetery.
