Bonnie J. Durkin Freeman

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Bonnie J. Durkin Freeman of 1509 St. Rt. 169, Niles who died Friday morning at her residence. Bonnie was born Jan. 30, 1943 in Youngstown, OH. A daughter of Walter M. and Myrtle (Tillery) Karnes. She was a member of McDonald Baptist Church. She loved Soap Operas (her favorite were the Guiding Light and the Young and the Restless) and she also loved movies. She is survived by her first husband James Durkin of Youngstown; children James Durkin of Youngstown, Gary Karnes of Mecca, John Karnes of Niles, Michael Durkin of Virginia, Jeannie Baritell of Niles, and Tammy Stanton of Girard; two sisters Phyllis Karnes of Warren and Pamela Corder of Rockford, IL;17 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandsons. She is preceded in death by her second husband Harold Freeman; her stepmother Wilma Gwen Karnes; a son Dennis Durkin; a sister Marsha Marie Karnes; and a grandson Cody Karnes.
