Bruce F. Scheck

Bruce F. Scheck, age 83, of Shepherd of the Valley, Howland passed away Monday afternoon. Bruce was born November 28, 1921 in Akron, OH a son of the late Earl E. and Jenny (Brown) Scheck. He was a train dispatcher for Conrail for 30 years retiring in 1975, he was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a US Navy Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. Bruce enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. He is survived by his wife the former June Metzgar whom he married on October 18, 1942; four children: Danny Bruce Scheck of Topeka, KS, Vicki Lynn Marino of Munroe Falls, OH, Pamela Beth Buckner of Mineral Ridge, OH, and Keith Frederick Scheck of Poland, OH; and one sister Mary Jane Feldscher of N. Canton, OH; ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Bruce is preceded in death by three sisters and eight brothers. Friends and family may call from 12 – 1PM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, where a funeral service will be held at 1 PM.
