C. Frances Smith

AUSTINTOWN-----Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for C. Frances Smith, 88 of Dunbar Ave., who passed away Wednesday morning at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born January 18, 1914 in Newark, OH, the daughter of Charles and Vera Alexander and came to this area in 1925. Her husband, James H. Smith, whom she married November 5, 1933 died in May of 1983. She is survived by three sons, James H. (Mary Rose) Smith, John H. Smith, both of Austintown and William E. (Virginia) Smith of Struthers, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Two daughters, Sondra Smith and Peggy Wert and two grandchildren, William J Smith and Donald P. Wert preceded her in death. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
