Carl Lee Halt Sr.

Carl Lee Halt Sr., 83, of Columbiana, passed away December 30, 2022, at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee.

Born November 19, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio, Carl was the son of Richard and Mildred (Hamarchick) Halt.

Carl was a 1957 graduate of Boardman High School and prior to retirement he worked for General Motors Lordstown Complex. Carl was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling to Florida, and watching Cleveland sports. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Ann (Fecko), whom he married September 1, 1962, and his siblings Richard Halt, Eleanor Clawges, and Betty Hanisko.

Carl leaves to cherish his memory, his children Sherry (Ken) Janis and Carl (Sherry) Halt; his grandchildren Tiffany (Andrew), Ashley (Mike), Carl L. III, and Chris (Sarah); his great grandchildren Seth, Ethan, Isabelle, Cooper, and Julia; and his siblings Amy (Bill) Dorcas, Fred (Sherry) Halt, and Marty (Lynn) Wetherholt.

Private family services were held for Carl and he was laid to rest beside his wife at Resurrection Cemetery.
