Carolyn A. Reed

Carolyn A. Reed, 83, passed away on August 8, 2019 at O’Brien Memorial Health Care Center. Carolyn was born on September 25, 1935 in Clarksburg, WV to John & Carolyn (Vingle) Tylus.
On September 18, 1955, Carolyn was united in marriage to Thomas Reed, Sr. who preceded her in death on January 30, 1995.
She spent her career working as a receptionist for American Welding.
When Carolyn wasn’t working, she was frequently found enjoying the bright lights of the casino. Whether she was betting on the horse races or at the craps table, Carolyn was sure to be smiling and having fun. However, she will be remembered most for being a loving wife and mother.
A memorial service for Carolyn will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday August 17, 2019 at Lane Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, Warren, where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Carolyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Thomas Jr. & Denise Reed as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Bernadette, Minehart, Bernice Poniewasz, Mary Ferdeber and Adeline Brzezinski.
