Memorial services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday June 6th at the Old North Church in Canfield for Carolyn D. Hackett of 820 Southwestern Run who passed away at the Greenbriar Nursing Home on Thursday, May 23. Mrs. Hackett was born May 26, 1925 in Youngstown, the daughter of Ray and Elizabeth (Williams) DeLaney. A former Administrative Assistant for the Sears and Robuck Company for 17 years, Carolyn was a member of the Old North Church in Canfield. Mrs. Hackett leaves a daughter Barbara Gavalier of Woodstock GA. and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband William R. Hackett whom she married January 2, 1945 and passed away in 1998. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Beverly Hackett Shirley and a sister Virginia Pierson. There are no calling hours.
