Carolyn Joyce Little

Carolyn Joyce Little, 85, passed away Sunday, August 4th, 2024 after an extended illness at The Windsor House in Champion, Ohio. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Michael Kornick and Margaret (Leitch) Kornick on April 10th, 1939.

She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High school and spent her working days as a licensed practical nurse at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, where she spent 32 years. After retirement, Carolyn volunteered for many years at the Mill Creek Park’s Fellow Riverside Gardens in the gift shop. She was very active socially- swimming, bowling, bocce, and her favorite pastime, shopping. She also served as an officer in her women’s group formerly known as the Red Hat Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, her parents, and a son, Kevin Little. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Kathy Little and her partner Susan, and her well loved daughter-in-law, Laura (Centric) Little.

Carolyn’s family will receive guests on Tuesday August 13th, 2024 from 5pm to 6pm, with a service to follow at 6pm at Lane Funeral Home in Austintown.
