Catherine Gabrish

Catherine M. Gabrish, 73 There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel, celebrating the life of Catherine M. Gabrish, 73 of Sebring, formerly of Canfield who died Friday at MetroHealth in Cleveland. Catherine was born November 13, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Clair and Frances( Bielec) Clawson, grew up in McDonald and graduated from McDonald High School in 1963. She had worked as an interior decorator for various local stores including Home Depot and Sears. Catherine enjoyed going to flea markets and loved to cook, especially Chinese food. Her husband, Andrew J. Gabrish, whom she married August 9, 1963, died March of 1990. She leaves her son, James Gabrish of Charleston, SC; a daughter, Regina Marie Gabrish of Minerva; two grandcchildren, James Anthony Gabrish, Jr. Alexus Catherine Gabrish; a sister, Sandra "Susie" (Gary) Borton of Girard; and a brother, Andrew Clawson of Warren. Catherine also leaves a niece, Samantha Eash; a great niece, Abigail Eash and a great-nephew, Cameron Creech. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel.
