Cathleen Gagliardi

Cathleen Gagliardi, 69 of Youngstown, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown. Cathleen was born November 15, 1954 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Leonard and Julienne (Delfs) Gagliardi and was a lifelong area resident. 

She graduated from Canfield High School and received her Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and her Master’s Degree from Youngstown State University. Cathleen  had taught math and music at the Youngstown City Schools for 30 years, before retiring. 

She enjoyed watching football and cheering for her favorite team, the Michigan Wolverines and listening to classical music. Most  precious to Cathleen was spending time with her grandchildren. 

She leaves her son, Mark (Erin) Wilson of Pittsburgh; a step-daughter, Christine (Sean) Leonhart of Toledo; five grandchildren, Vance, Gabriel, Reagan, Harper and Julienne. Cathleen also leaves her sister, Marina Clicquennoi of Kent and a brother, Carl (Alice) Gagliardi of Canfield. Besides her parents, Cathleen was preceded in death by a son, Jason Wilson and a brother, Leonard Gagliardi. 

 A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 3^rd at Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
