Charles L. Carson, 87 Charles L. Carson, 87 of Canfield, passed away Monday, March 11th at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown. Charles was born May 23, 1931 in Canfield, a son of the late Charles E. and Mary (Handwork) Carson and was a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Canfield High School and was a self-employed carpenter. He leaves his wife, the former Linda Jenkins, whom he married March 22, 2008; a daughter, Debbie (Jim) of Lake Milton; a son, Charles, Jr. of Austintown; two step-daughters, Melissa (Ray) of Youngstown and Bradie of Canfield. He also leaves his sister Jane and eight grandchildren, Bailey, Chad, Anna, Joe, Azlynn, Madelyn, Kaylee and Tyler. Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two children, Patricia and Brian. There are no calling hours. Charles served in the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War and he will be interred with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
