Charles W. Persinger 62 Champion Twp. --Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Charles W. Persinger of 212 State Rd who passed away Thursday afternoon at his residence. Charles was born April 13, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN a son of Lewis and Sylviaree (Humphrey) Persinger. He was a truck driver for Leaseway Motor Carrier for 22 years retiring in February 2002, and a Navy Veteran of 22 years. He is survived by his wife the former Betty Wardrip whom he married July 2, 1964, a son Charles A Persinger of Boardman; 2 step sons: William Roosa and Mark Leroy both of Jacksonville, FL; a sister Margaret Persinger of Ft. Myers Fl; a brother David Persinger of Dayton, OH; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Hank Persinger.
