Mrs. Cheryl Lee Ankrom, 64 of Austintown, died unexpectedly Friday morning, April 5th at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
She was born August 12, 1959 in Columbus, a daughter of Dr. Raymond L. "Lee" and Bonnie (Creech) Davidson, and she grew up in the Eastgate area of Cincinnati.
Cheryl spent her adult life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family.
She married Robert L. Ankrom on September 3, 2005. They shared 18 years of marriage and many happy memories together. He survives her.
Cheryl was a member of the Vienna First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading and staying strong in her Christian faith.
Besides her husband, Cheryl is survived by two sons; Jeremy (Tara) Lawson, and Aaron Lawson, both of Cincinnati. She also leaves behind her stepmother, Rosalee Davidson, of Cincinnati; two sisters; Sharmon (Todd) Jennings, and Christy (Scott) Morgan; a brother, Kerry (Kathy) Davidson; five granddaughters; and her beloved cat, Willow.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services for Cheryl will be held at a later date.
She was laid to rest in the Green Haven Cemetery, Canfield.
