Christine Mary Rehlinger

Christine Mary Rehlinger Our Beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend Christine (Christa) Rehlinger, formerly of Canfield, OH,  passed away peacefully on December 11, 2017 after a courageous battle with leukemia, at her home in Roxborough Park, CO at the age of 53. Christine was born on March 23, 1964 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Rehlinger.  She attended CH Campbell Elementary, Canfield Middle, and graduated from Canfield High School in 1982.  She was a proud Buckeye Alumni, graduating in 1986 from The Ohio State University, with a BS degree in Marketing and Business. Christine was a caring, kind, fun-loving, free spirit.  She loved the outdoor and especially the mountains.  She reached the summit of 38 of Colorado's 54 "Fourteeners".  She was an avid skier, bicycler and hiker.  She was a talented artist and painter.  Her strong Catholic faith helped her throughout the challenges of her illness.  She was a symbol of selfless humanity in donating her remains to scientific research with the aim of helping others. Throughout her career, she worked in many marketing, marketing research and sales representative positions in Columbus, OH, Jackson, MS,  Nashville, TN, and Colorado.  She was awarded many honors related to her work ethic.  She left her family of friends at her most recent position at Springs Window Fashions in Colorado. She was honored with their beautiful Spirit of Life award.  Proceded in death by her father Frank Rehlinger, Christine is survived by her loving mother, Elizabeth Rehlinger of Canfield, OH, her siblings: Anton Rehlinger (Canfield, OH), Elfrieda Londeree (Canton, OH), Elizabeth Rehlinger (Canfield, OH), Jacob Rehlinger (McMinnville, OR), three nieces: Courtney (Jake) Glavin (Minneapolis, MN), Allison Londeree (Columbus, OH), Brianna Londeree (Canton, OH), many loving and caring aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and by a host of friends. Calling Hours are Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 10am to 11am followed by her Memorial Mass at 11am with Father Terrance Hazel officiating at St. Michael's Church (281 Glenview Road  Canfield, OH 44406).
