Clara Louise Cox

Canfield --- Clara L. Cox, 89 peacefully passed away on August 4, 2024 at Windsor House at Canfield. She was born on February 3, 1935 in Youngstown to Eloise and Thomas Perry. She attended Boardman High School. She married Andrew M. Beyers of Boardman and raised three children. She later married Doyle Keith Cox of Canfield. She enjoyed being a homemaker and planting flowers and trees around her home on Canfield Road. She loved feeding and watching the local wildlife that visited her back yard.

She is preceded in death by both husbands, a sister, Joan Trippe of Akron, a son, David Andrew Beyers of Ravenna and a great granddaughter, Mackenzie Renee Beyers of Troutville, VA. 

She is survived by a half-brother, Donald Maxwell of Youngstown. Two children, Andrew (Sandra) Beyers of Troutville, VA and Susan (Kent) Allsup of Dickson, Tennessee, daughter in law, Roberta Beyers of Ravenna. Step children, Steven Cox, Susan Owens, Sandra (Steven) Peters, David Cox all of Salem, Ohio. A niece, Sandra (David) Helms of Cleveland. Grandchildren Carrie Pinner, A. Zachary Beyers, Michelle Armstrong, Melinda Hall, Joseph Beyers, and Dave Beyers Jr. Great grandchildren, Tyler Armstrong, Leah Armstrong, Mason Choate, Emili Beyers and Bailey Beyers.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services as she previously requested.

Clara’s family appreciate the loving care provided by the wonderful staff at Windsor House at Canfield and Compassionate Care Hospice while she was a resident there for the past year.
